Braced To Grow supports children who need custom-fitted scoliosis braces and other orthotic devices. Led by Liu Chang (LC), an ISPO Category I certified Prosthetist & Orthotist, our paediatric orthotics studio combines years ocareful fitting, and digital fabrication tools to help children receive scoliosis braces that are thoughtfully designed, delivered more quickly, and made for daily life in Singapore.
Braced To Grow makes custom-fitted spinal braces for children with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS), juvenile idiopathic scoliosis (JIS), or infantile idiopathic scoliosis (IIS), as well as scoliosis or kyphosis of neuromuscular or syndromic origin.
We support children who have been advised to consider, or proceed with, spinal bracing as part of their orthopaedic care plan. This usually follows a medical review, imaging, and recommendation from a doctor. Our role is to provide orthotic assessment, brace design, fitting, adjustment, and follow-up support in close partnership with your child's care providers.

Liu Chang (LC), is an ISPO Category I certified Prosthetist & Orthotist who has worked exclusively with children.
Before starting Braced To Grow, LC was a Senior Prosthetist & Orthotist at KK Women's and Children's Hospital, where she focused on paediatric orthotics, including spinal braces for scoliosis and other orthotic needs. She has fitted more than 2,000 orthotic braces for children, including more than 700 spinal braces.
LC is BSPTS-certified in the Rigo Concept for scoliosis bracing, and has trained in Rigo-style, Boston-style, and body-jacket brace systems — allowing her to match the bracing approach to each child's curve pattern and correction goals, rather than applying a single system by default.
LC's approach is calm, practical, and child-centred. She understands that a scoliosis brace must do more than fit on the body — it also has to work within a child's school day, family routine, growth, movement, clothing, confidence, and comfort.
Children are not small adults. Braces need to account for growth, school, rest, skin comfort, movement, clothing, and emotional adjustment.
We explain the process in accessible language so parents and children understand what the brace is for, how it should feel, and when to ask for adjustments.
Each brace is custom made. We use digital tools where appropriate to improve precision, consistency, and turnaround time.
Scoliosis bracing often sits within a wider care pathway. We work with doctors, physiotherapists, and other care providers where appropriate.
A well-fitted brace only helps if it's worn as intended. We build simple, encouraging wear-time support into every brace, so everyone can see how things are going.
Braced To Grow uses digital scanning, design tools, modern fabrication methods and 3D printing.
Our aim is not to use technology for its own sake. It is to make the scoliosis bracing process more consistent, reduce avoidable delays, and support careful fitting for each child.
We're also building simple ways for parents and clinicians to stay on the same page about wear time between visits — practical and reassuring, not intrusive.
Share what has been recommended for your child, along with any referral notes or X-ray reports if available.
LC reviews your child's scoliosis bracing needs, body shape, daily routine, and practical concerns around brace wear.
We take the measurements and perform a digital scan to create accurate models needed to design the brace.
The brace is designed and 3D-fabricated to support orthotic goals, with attention to fit, comfort, and daily wearability.
Your child tries the brace on. We check the fit, make adjustments, and explain how to build up wear time.
Children grow. We provide support to review fit, comfort, and practical issues.
Parents often come to us after a school screening, doctor's review, X-ray, or recommendation for a brace. It is normal to have questions:
